DESIGN

It is our goal to help you fall in love with your landscape. We are passionate about dynamic perennial and woody plants that are beautiful, pollinator-friendly, and when chosen with care, create a seasonal tableau for cutting and arranging.  We strive to create personalized, vibrant, and beneficial landscape designs that compliment your mature garden, solve existing design challenges, or provide a complete landscape overhaul.

Our designs are informed by the impact of climate change, meaning we prioritize design elements that are climate-adapted, drought tolerant, and preserve storm water.  We see landscape design as an important climate change mitigation tool, which is why we strive to build gardens that can withstand climates shifts and use fewer natural resources over time.

If you are interested in our services, we ask that you first fill out the inquiry form on our website’s homepage. The next step of our design process is a Pre-consultation survey and a a free 30-minute phone consultation. Both links will be emailed to you after we have received your initial inquiry. The purpose of both the Pre-consultation survey and the 30-minute phone consultation is to further clarify project goals and timeline. This is when we will schedule an in-person consultation.

Step 2

Paid in-person consultation

In-person consultations are $120/hr, typically lasting 1.5-2.5 hours depending on the property size.  Payment is due at the time of the meeting. During this time, we get to know the project scope, your preferences, and the available budget in order to ensure a good fit.

Step 3

Estimate

You will be provided with a rough estimate for your design in a follow up email describing the projects scope.  Once approved, there is a 50% deposit for your design work.

Step 4

The remaining payment for design work is due at this time. One round of edits to plants and materials are included in your design fee. Large scale revisions to the design will incur an additional costs.

Step 5

Design conclusion

After incorporating your feedback and revisions, we’ll send a final design via email. The final step is prepare for your installation with a estimate for your project.
